Carter's Last Day of Preschool...EVER!

Today was Carter's very last day of Preschool at Family of Christ.  I still can't believe it... It feels like yesterday was his first day of preschool and here he is, done for the year, and onto kindergarten!  Wow!  We had an amazing experience, all the way from Ryan's first day at FOC, until Carter's last.  We have spent the past four years in this school and I cannot say enough about how much we love the teachers.  Carter is now writing his letters, numbers, saying all of the alphabet sounds, counting to 100, and reading small sight word books.  His accomplishments this year are incredible - he has come so far and I am so proud of him!

Evan had my camera today, so I had only my phone to take a few pictures of his last day.

Mrs. Guenther read the kids a final story about a class planting a seed and how that seed grew up and blossomed under the care of the teacher.  How fitting.  She was crying by the end, and looking around the room, so were all of the parents.  She has a gift working with these kids and thoroughly enjoys her job.  You know when you can just tell by the passion someone displays at their job... that is her!

Goodbye to Mrs. Guenther:

A gift and card for Mrs. Johnson, equally amazing as Mrs. Guenther.  They make the best teaching duo:

Goodbye hugs for Mrs. Johnson:
