Kyle's Soccer Jamboree

Kyle played his last soccer game for the 2011 summer season today in the Jamboree.  The boys were shot as they had no subs today at all - they had to play the entire game (the opposing team had 3 subs).  It was a fun game to watch - Kyle really gets right in there and is an aggressive player.  He scored the only goal for green today!  Great job, K Dog!

Kyle was tripped a few times today:

Tripping was called as he was attempting a goal:

So he was given a shot on goal...

and scored the only goal for green today!

After his goal:

He was up against much larger players today.  What Kyle lacks in size, he more than makes up for in speed and intensity:

Como Town

The boys and I paired up with the neighbor boys and their Mom to take on Como Town.  We received Fun Cards from Como last summer when our boys were on their billboard.  I was told we had 2 all day wristbands per Fun Card.  When we got to Como Town, I was pleasantly surprised to find out we had 8 wristbands per Fun Card - that's 24 passes!  Woohoo!  We had so much fun today.  The boys ran from one ride to the next...to the next...and then begged to go to the splash pad.  We saved that for last knowing they would be soaked when we got done!  And soaked they were, within seconds of entering the splash pad.  If they are half as tired as I am tonight, they will sleep very well! :)

On our way into the Zoo - Ryan, Carter, Zach, and Lukas:

Boys peeking through the wall:

I love these lilies - I really should plant them in my pond again - so pretty!

Frog Hopper was the first ride:

I'd say it was a hit for everyone!

Ryan and Lukas in the teacups:

Zach, Carter, and Tracie, also in the teacups:

Ryan giving Carter a push on the zipline:

He is getting better and better at it - even attempting tricks this year!

Zach's first solo run - look at those eyes! :)

Doubling up - Ryan and Lukas hit the zipline together:

Now the brothers' turn, Carter and Ryan:

Carter getting dumped on.  A year ago, he would have never thought of doing this - he couldn't stand water in his eyes!  What a difference  a year makes!

Turkey Mount is 'Mounted'

Kyle and Evan found the 'perfect' spot for the mount last weekend.  (My ideal spot = the hunting cabin was not an option, so they hung it in the basement).  I'm still getting used to it, but at least it is not on the main level!!!  Here is what it looks like:
