More Stamped Sterling Pieces

I have to be a little sneaky before holidays. I am unable to upload a couple of pictures of completed jewelry projects today due to my blog readers. I have had 5 orders from thoughtful husbands this week, ordering jewelry for their wife for Mother's Day!

This is for a neighbor girl celebrating her birthday next weekend:

Very unique stone - he asked for something green because his wife looks good in green - I love the rich colors in this stone:

7 1/2" bracelet for Mother's Day - I love this style!

I tried something completely new today and really like it! I guess that is the perk of being a jewelry designer - you can make your own Mother's Day gifts! :)

Future Favre?

Is Ryan the future Brett Favre? Not likely, but he is having fun playing football with Carter and Dad outside today. We spent the rainy morning indoors and the rain broke for us to get outside and enjoy the rest of the day - yeah!

Hopscotch

Ryan loves to hopscotch. Well, Carter does, to, but he just runs the length of the hopscotch board, randomly jumping when it suits him. Ryan is quick to point out that he isn't doing it 'right', but do you think that stops Carter? Not on your life! We draw a lot of chalk hopscotch boards over the course of a summer on our driveway!

Spring in Full Swing

Last week the blossoms were just starting on my plum tree. This week, it is in full bloom. I love this time of year - everything coming back to life after a long winter. And we are about a month ahead of schedule in Minnesota this year, but you'll hear no complaints from me!

Ryan told me he can't play on the grass now and I was confused (was it just fertilized? No...) He said "you planted all of those flowers on the ground, I don't want to step on them". The blossoms had falled from the plum tree and were covering the ground below. :)

Not very good light, but the entire tree is in full bloom. We planted this tree about 5-6 years ago and it was 6' tall when we planted. It is probably 18-20' now if I had to guess!

Ryan's Spring Program

Ryan had his spring program tonight at preschool. He did a great job. He isn't much of an action guy, but he did sing all of the songs. Very cute! I am amazed at how well these kids do for their ages. I give so much credit to Mrs. Guenther and Mrs. Johnson - they do an awesome job with them!

You have to love his zest for life!

Spring is in the Air

Spring is definitely in the air in Minnesota. The blossoms are on the trees. Thankfully we aren't as miserable with our allergies as we are most springs. Carter and I were bad the end of March/first of April, but thankfully with the use of our allergy meds we are now comfortable. Carter takes his once a day, I have 3-5 different treatments a day, depending on the severity. Modern medicine - what would we do without it????

Two eagles were circling over our neighborhood today - wish they would have come closer so I could have gotten a better photo:

Jewelry Orders

I had a busy day yesterday with orders. Thankfully Mom and Dad helped out with the boys so I could get solid work time on them. It was my biggest day yet with 13 orders! Many of these are Mother's Day gifts - some for others, some for themselves! :) Thanks to everyone for the referrals!!!!

This is for a 2-year-old. I love how cute and simple it is!

I really like the stacked look:

This is one of my new favorites - I love the stone!!!

Twins Win!

My Dad and boys and I ventured down to the new Target Field to take in a Twins game yesterday. The tickets were a gift from Evan's boss, and we were treated to 6th row seats, near 3rd base. Very nice seats and we had a great time. The weather was perfect - 60s and sunshine - what an amazing day to watch the Twins in an outdoor stadium...and the Twins pulled out a 6-5 victory!

Heading to the game:

Go Jason Kubel!

Wally the Beer Man stopped to chat with us:
