The boys opened their birthday gifts from us after school today. Kyle received bad news right before gift opening, so his heart wasn't in it. His baseball season has been cancelled, the entire 6th grade was cut from the team, due to too many players. Unfortunately, it is too late to register for any of the city leagues, so his 9 year stretch of playing baseball every summer came to an end. I felt bad for him! :( Thankfully, Carter was all smiles, so he cheered us up!
