Evan and I decided to forego a vacation this spring and instead spent that money on new flat panel TVs and an entertainment center (oh, and Evan also got a new Blu-ray out of the deal). This entertainment center took 3 weeks to make, start to finish, 3 hours to install, and is over 9 feet long and 7 feet tall. Needless to say, it is a little larger than I envisioned, but I do love it. The very best part - you can see all of the movies by pulling out the drawers and no longer have to pull out ALL of the movies to get those stored at the back of the cabinet. The kids literally have over 200 movies. We're looking into a 12 step program for that...




New TV is 52" which seemed HUGE when it sat on our coffee table for a few weeks, but suddenly seemed small when the new entertainment center arrived...

The very best part - access to the movies!
