I received flowers last week from Evan, "just because"...aren't they the best kind? :)

Twins Game
I bet you wondered if I've abandoned the blog forever. It has been so busy around here with the start of school and all of the activities. I have to keep asking myself what day it is! Thank goodness for Outlook calendars - I don't know how I would get everyone where they needed to be at the right time without them! :)
So, I'm back...here goes...
Evan went to the Champion's Club with his coworkers. They took in an afternoon game. What a fun experience (and I had to watch it out of my window at work - not quite the same!)

Back in Business Again!
I pulled out my jewelry supplies this weekend for the first time since July. It felt great to get back in my creative mode again!
Here are some of the items I made - including a couple of new designs that I am excited about!
Carter's ID badge for his backpack - chain used for photo only, attaches to his backpack on the split ring:
My new 3 disc necklace with framed edges:
My camera strap cover ID disc - what a fun way to personalize your camera!
Orders I took over the summer break are now complete:

It Arrived!
Kyle's gun safety training card came in the mail this week. He was over the moon excited to have it in hand (look at that grin!) - he is legal now!!! :)
Carter's Swimming Lessons
Carter started fall session swimming lessons at Foss Swim School today. Last session he was scared and there were a lot of tears. I couldn't believe the difference today. No tears, no fear whatsoever. He did the lazy starfish float alone - before, just hearing those words alone would send him into a crying frenzy! He kept saying to me "are you proud of me, Mom?" :)
He was so proud of himself!!!!

Carter's First Day of Preschool
Today was Carter's first day of preschool at Family of Christ. We had parent-child day, so I was able to stay with him for the entire session. Next Tuesday marks his first day alone at preschool. I will again be carpooling with another family - she will drive Carter on Tuesdays and I will drive her son on Thursdays - I am so happy it all worked out. Carter was so excited with his Spiderman backpack - I hope his excitement continues!!!!

Successful first day!
Ryan came home from school with a grin on his face! He had such a great day and he loves his teacher! Success!!!!!!
Here comes the bus!
Getting off the bus with his neighborhood friends. Interesting thing I learned today. Our neighborhood has so many kids, we have a bus all to ourselves!!!! That makes things easy!
So happy!!!!!
