Pump It Up

The boys and I headed to Pump It Up yesterday as Ryan is on MEA School Break.  It was crowded, but that didn't seem to phase the boys.  They played, jumped, bounced, and ran the entire time, and were sweaty and exhausted when the 1 1/2 hours was up.  Pump It Up makes you feel like a kid again - I wish they would have had them when I was little! :)

Kyle shot his first grouse on Saturday at the cabin.  I'm not sure who was more excited or proud - Kyle or Evan?  Definitely a fun weekend for them, and a beautiful one at that!!!!

Halloween Costumes

The boys dressed up in their Halloween costumes last night for Zoo Boo.  I took a few pictures of them so we could avoid the craziness of Halloween night.  Ryan chose a Batman costume and Carter got a hand-me-down costume that Ryan wore in 2007.

Zoo Boo

Mom and I took the boys to Zoo Boo last night at Como Zoo.  We have gone almost every year and the boys just love it!  Last night was the most crowded I have ever seen it, but likely because the weather was so gorgeous.  The boys had fun seeing over 200 volunteers dressed in costumes and handing out Halloween candy and treats.  We ended the evening with a visit to Toy Land at Fleet Farm and ice cream at Cold Stone - perfect night!!!! :)

Majestic Oaks

The boys and I went to Majestic Oaks Golf Course on Friday night for their hayride/bonfire.  We had never been there, so I wasn't sure what to expect.  We took a tractor-driven hayride around the golf course for about a half hour and then we spent the next hour or so at a massive bonfire on the golf course.  There was a storm this summer that had taken out about 40 of their large trees on the course, so they decided to hold bonfires every Friday night in October to burn up the wood.  The kids had so much fun.  It was the perfect night for it.  I wish I could have captured the warmth of the night in the photos!

Confused

Our plants/patio/lawn look far more like July than mid-October.  It has been in the 70s and 80s, unbelievable for October.  Mind you, I'm not complaining, it could stay like this all winter for me!  I just got done mowing lawn and took these pictures:

Eagle's Nest

Carter and I met Bethany and Abigail for a playdate at Eagle's Nest on Friday.  Bethany was my previous jobshare partner (for almost 4 years at Target) and she and I can go months without seeing one another and pick up right where we left off.  We were at Eagle's Nest nearly 4 1/2 hours on Friday and it went by so quickly - we could have talked all day.  The kids got along great as well.  They were best of buds by the end of our time together.
