Jewelry

Although I'm not technically making jewelry anymore, I will still make gifts for friends and family.  I dusted off the jewelry making bin to make these on Friday:

Bengals Football

I feel like we live football in our house now.  We watch Ryan's football games, we watch any high school, college, and professional game televised.  We play football non-stop in the backyard and living room.  We quote football stats at dinner.  We talk about football at bedtime.  I am learning way more about the game than I thought I ever needed to know and I have a feeling this will continue for a very long time... :)

Grandpa came down to watch Ryan's football game yesterday.  Unfortunately, it was an off day for the Bengals and they didn't come up with a win.  Hopefully their last regular season game tomorrow and the playoffs will go better!

Huddle before the game:

Look at Ryan's long legs!

Check out the size of this kid tackling Josh - he was a head taller than any other player on the field!

Ryan taking a dive - was he going in for an early tackle?

I've heard the opposing team comment on Ryan's long strides.  He can get down the field very quickly (both in lacrosse and football) thanks to his long legs and long stride!

Instagram

Time for another Instagram dump:

The courtyard of our beautiful new Target North Campus:

Grandpa and Grandma came down to watch Carter's last baseball game of the fall season and we celebrated afterwards at Cold Stone:

Flowers from my thoughtful hubby:

It's beginning to look a lot like fall in our house:

Dinner on the patio with Grace:

I read a 671 page book in 4 days for book club - Cutting for Stone

Carter and his "Hero" on his All About Me poster for school:

The bonfire is always going in our campus courtyard.  It looks so inviting on a gorgeous fall day:

We replaced our plum tree that had died with a new birch tree in the front yard.  Which will grow faster, the tree or our boys?

Family Pictures

We had our annual family photos done with Jen Billman of Jennifer Brooke Photography last month.  She did an amazing job and was so patient with my squirrely kiddos.  I was so happy with our photos!
