Ready for Santa

Ryan and Carter put out Winter Oreos (Carter's favorite) and Lemonade (Ryan's favorite) for Santa before bed tonight.  They were so excited, I'm surprised they slept at all!  And yet, within only a few minutes of going to bed, both were out cold!!

Lego Helicopter

Ryan got a small Lego set for his birthday.  When we were home alone yesterday, he wanted to put it together.  He was waiting for me to finish putting away the laundry and by the time I was done, he had finished - all on his own!  He was SO proud!

Strawberries

Ryan's favorite food in the world is strawberries.  Even better than plain strawberries - cool whip on the strawberries!  Dad isn't pleased when I let him use cool whip, so we do this when Dad is gone.  Shhhh...don't tell! :)

Ryan's Letter to Santa

Ryan's letter to Santa was read by Santa himself at the local TV station tonight.  He will be so excited to see it in the morning - I videod it off the TV, so it isn't the greatest quality, but I wanted to share it here!

Singing and Dancing Spiderman

I was burning home videos tonight and this one made me laugh.  I think he dances like his Mom! :)

Gingerbread Houses

Ryan's kindergarten class made gingerbread houses today at school.  Evan and I were both able to volunteer for their holiday party.  It was fun - what a mess of frosting, but fun!  The kids had a blast.  Some of the kids tried to sneak a little candy to eat, but the teacher warned us - that candy is from a few year's back.  Yeah....I passed!  But the kids had a great time making their houses - out of used milk cartons.  Very ingenius!!!!  I always enjoy my time volunteering in his classroom!!!

Carter's Preschool Christmas Program

It seems like just yesterday we were attending Ryan's preschool Christmas programs and now it is time for Carter to take the center stage!  His class performed 7 songs and we enjoyed Happy Birthday cake for Jesus.  It was a fun morning - I loved seeing how proud those 3 year olds were to sing for us!!!!
