Ryan's Preschool Christmas Program

Ryan's Preschool Christmas Program was this afternoon at his school. What a difference a year makes - he did a GREAT job today - he sang, did the actions, and paid attention - the entire time! Evan and I were just laughing out loud reading his journal from last year's program - where he didn't participate in the program at all. Not my child! Today's program went great and Mrs. Guenther and Mrs. Johnson did an amazing job preparing the kids for their songs!

Ryan's 5th Birthday Party

We had Ryan's 5th Birthday Party at our house today, with a Spiderman theme. There were about 26 people here, including about a dozen kids. It was pretty loud, but the kids had a blast. Ryan was SO excited for his birthday party! He didn't wipe that smile off his face all day long!

Cake that he picked out all by himself:

Opening his card and savings bond from Grandpa and Grandma:

Opening his presents:
Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate and make Ryan's day extra special!

Combination

I have a girlfriend that lives in New York and is a television producer. She is a very creative - minded individual and helped me design the following bracelet - combining my beading work with the stamped sterling. I could use her here all the time helping me 'think outside the box'! :) I hope you like it, Shana!

Gymnastics

This is my 500th blog post...unbelievable! Thank you to those who continue to follow our family on our blog!

Evan joined us for Gymnastics today - we had a make-up session today for Christmas week. Generally we attend on Friday mornings and Evan is at work. The boys loved having their Dad with us today!

Orders

Orders for stamped jewelry are coming in faster than I can make them or keep supplies on hand (both referrals and Facebook requests). That is a good thing, since I enjoy stamping. A late night on Monday night produced the following necklaces:

Number one...

The series of 5th birthday parties began today with Ryan's preschool birthday party. He was so excited to get to wear the birthday crown, bring cupcakes to share, and have the class sing happy birthday to him. What a fun day... I still can't believe he is almost FIVE!?!

Itch

The itch to build struck again with Ryan, and is actually, striking daily lately. He can sit for hours building and rebuilding, every single toy shown in the instructions and then some. He proudly holds his latest creation for me to photograph!
