Ripsticker
We gave Kyle a ripstick for Christmas. For those of you that are not familiar with a Ripstick, it is a 2 wheeled skateboard, with each end moving independently. Very tricky to get started on - you need a great sense of balance (those that know me, know I am out!) Evan was giving it a whirl tonight...

Add Skateboarding to the Mix
Ryan has been riding his Razor scooter for about a year, but now he is trying out his balance on a regular skateboard. He sees Kyle and Evan riding the Ripstick and has to give skateboarding a whirl. There isn't much this kid won't try. He is our little dare devil for sure! Within about a half hour, he had taught himself to skateboard. What's next???

Biker
There is no stopping this kiddo now on his bike. He was a little hesitant right away this spring, not sure if he wanted to ride without training wheels or not. Then he needed help starting out (getting his balance). Now he is off and is our little hell on wheels through the neighborhood. He rides his bike all the time!!! Look out!!!

Last Day of Preschool
Yesterday was the last day of Preschool in Mrs. Skaff's class. I seriously cannot believe an entire school year has passed since we brought them to Orientation last fall. Where does the time go? Thursday's class ended with chapel with Mrs. Hiller and "Poncho", a favorite for the kids. We carpooled with Grace next door this school year - and she will head to kindergarten next year. I'll miss the carpool set up we had - very convenient living next door and having close daycares as well! I'm proud of you kiddos!!!! :)

Outside
This is my 300th blog post. Can you believe I have bored you through 300 posts? Tonight must have been crooked picture night - I was on a roll. And I wasn't even drinking! I love the boys different expressions I catch when I observe them - check out the different faces of Carter below! :)
97*?
Was it really in the upper 90s today when I had to work and 40s on Saturday when I wanted to be outside??? Regardless, we enjoyed our evening. The waterfall looked cool enough to crawl into! I didn't know it was in the 90s, no wonder I was heading for the sprinklers on my run tonight instead of dodging them like usual! :)

T-Ball
Sunday afternoon's beautiful weather triggered an impromptu t-ball game in the backyard. The kids all took turns batting and fielding. Where is the video camera when you need it? Even Carter took his turn - he would hit the ball and then run - only he didn't run the bases, he just RAN...wherever his little heart desired! That is what it is all about when you are two and that is what summer is all about - fun outside with the kids! Love it!
