Twins Suite

Carter's baseball team had the opportunity to watch today's Twins Game from a Suite.  It was a great experience for them and he was soooo excited!  Only one parent could attend, so Evan went with him.  They gave away Twins hats at the door today so they came home with new Twins hats and somehow Carter finagled a souvenir Twins bat out of Evan!  After the game, the kids were able to run the bases on the field.  What a great experience for the baseball team!!!

Grindstone

We headed up to Grindstone just for the day today.  Although I wish the trip could have been longer, it was great to get up there for the day and we enjoyed every minute of it.  The kids have soooo much fun in the water!!!

Today we brought up a new 'boat' for Loren, hoping to get him out on the water.  I wish I would have taken pictures of him in it, but below are some of Evan and the kids enjoying the new water toy!!!

Bunker Beach

The forecast was calling for 90* and high humidity today.  That sounded like a perfect Bunker Beach day to me.  The kids were only too happy to agree with me!  We headed over there for opening (11:00) and left as the dark thunderclouds rolled in (4:45 p.m.) and were home just in time for the thunderstorm to roll over.  We had perfect timing, and a perfect day there.

I am amazed at how brave Carter is becoming.  There is no more hanging out in the kiddie pool for him.  He went down the large water slides for the first time as well as across the obstacle course.  He was SO proud of himself as he was conquering new areas.  It was fun to see!!!

Tooth Fairy

Guess who lost his first tooth?  I couldn't believe it!  Carter has had 4 loose teeth for over a month now, but they haven't been very loose.  He bit into a hot dog at the carnival this weekend and it loosened the bottom one enough to come out.  Grandma pulled it on Saturday morning and he was SO excited to come and tell us about it!  He has been waiting for this day since Ryan lost his first one.  Finally it is his turn!

AND I caught the tooth fairy - how cool is that?  He will be so excited to see the picture when he gets up in the morning! :)
