Kyle's Track and Field Day

Kyle had his last track and field day in elementary school at Legacy Christian Academy.  He did a great job!!!!

Blackberries

Carter has added blackberries to his sundae mix.  He can't get enough.  We can't wait for the summer berries when we can pick our own! :)

Run Club

Ryan is in Johnsville's Run Club that meets after school on Thursday.  Their principal is a marathon runner (she has run something like 24 marathons in her life) and has started Run Club to inspire kids to get moving and fight childhood obesity.  The kids LOVE it!  When parents/volunteers find kids that are working hard, they reward them with small plastic feet, and the kids work extra hard to earn their feet.  It's the little things that motivate the kids - and you can see the determination in their eyes.  So much fun!!!!

Lakes Park

For the second time in a week, we went to the Lakes Park.  We spent a lot of time on the dock - the water was so high - it partially covered the cement slab leading to the dock.  Carter loved to watch the fish in the water below.  Next time we need to bring our fishing poles! :)

Carter and I are making the most of the next couple of weeks alone together before Ryan's school lets out on June 9.  Carter has me all to himself now that his school is done for the year.  We love our alone time, but are looking forward to having full days to go to 'fun places' on Thursdays and Fridays all together again.  I can't wait for the summer months.  We have so much fun in store for us! :)

Park

We ventured to the "big" park in the lakes for the first time this year.  We had a lazy Saturday with Dad up at the cabin, so we took advantage of the small window between storms to get out and enjoy the day!  :)

We got so much rain so quickly that my pond overflowed, the overflow simply couldn't keep up!  Hopefully my fish are still inside! :)

Last Day

Yesterday was Carter's last day of 3 year old preschool.  I can't believe an entire school year has gone by!  Next year he will be in Mrs. Guenther's extended day program.  I keep trying to find the elusive 'Pause' button on life!
