Dalton

Our neighbor's son, Dalton moved into the neighborhood officially on Friday. He will spend his time at his Dad's house, with his little sisters (Paige and Brooke, Ryan's and Carter's friends). They threw a Welcome party for him today. It will be great to have him here - he is an awesome role model for Kyle - and is a great big brother to his little sisters. Welcome, Dalton! :)

Grad Party

Today was Evan's nephew/godson's graduation party. Nick graduated from Forest Lake High School on Thursday. The Carey's have a house roughly 10 times the size of ours, so the kids had a blast tearing through the many levels/areas of the Carey residence. The pool table was a hit - both kids spent a lot of time rolling the balls from one end to the other. I met Ian's wife for the first time (pictured below). She is a doll and it was great catching up with the rest of the family as well!

Bracelets

I beaded 2 bracelets today. The first is for a friend of mine, as a gift to her sister-in-law, who just had her first baby. The second is for Faye, the boys' hair stylist. She has cut their hair every time since Ryan was a baby (with the exception of her maternity leave - her son is Carter's age). The boys love her and so do I! She has incredible patience, especially with Ryan who would rather do almost anything than get his hair cut!!!! :)

Official Marathon Pictures

These are the official marathon pictures, taken by the professional photographers at the event. You can't believe how happy I was to cross that FINISH line! :)

Kickoff to Summer Party

Tonight our neighbors held a Kickoff to Summer Party. It was initially scheduled for tomorrow, but with the weather forecasters predicting 50* for a high and 80% chance of rain, they moved the party to tonight. We actually have 5 other events tomorrow, so it worked out better for us!! The kids didn't want to leave to go to the party tonight - they were watching a new Batman movie. When we got there, we couldn't get them to leave. They had a blast on the trampoline in the backyard, playing with all of the kids, and they came back for more and more food. Our little garbage cans could not fill up (especially when it came to Jill's bars or Tracy's cookies!) What a fun night, even though it didn't feel like summer - it was 72* when we left for the party and 55* when we came home - brrrrr!!!!

Garage

This is what your garage looks like with 3 boys and all of their toys. A disaster. Then poor Carter - all of his toys end up in the back. Here he is, dragging his basketball hoop, wading through the clutter. After I snapped the picture, I did help him out!!!

Friends

Ryan's neighborhood buddies: Grace and Elliott. (Lukas must have been in back!) They have SO much fun together - only one of the reasons we can never leave this neighborhood!!!
