Visit with Great Grandma Elsye
We took a road trip on Saturday to see Evan's Grandma, Elsye. She is just a couple of weeks shy of her 99th birthday, although you would never know it by looking at her. She fell a couple of weeks ago and broke her shoulder, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. She is still as sharp as always. Here our pictures of our visit:

Sleeping
Is there anything cuter than the butt up in the air of a sleeping baby? I just love seeing that!
Ryan was sacked out during his nap today. He is sleeping so much better since his surgery, which is a relief to us as we had a difficult time deciding whether or not to put him through the surgery. At this point, I am very glad we went ahead with it...

Box Full of Puppies
I have often joked that getting these three to sit in the same spot, look at the camera, and actually smile is like photographing a box full of puppies - there is always 1 that doesn't cooperate. Tonight was no exception with Carter and Ryan being so busy! This is my attempt at getting a photo of the 3 of them together - we wanted one for Great Grandma Elsye's 99th Birthday card we are delivering to her this weekend...

Saturday on Lake Minnetonka
We went out to Charles and Lisa's on Lake Minntonka yesterday. We went boating and anchored at Big Island to have a bite to eat. The kids went swimming - Ryan loved jumping off the end of the boat. We docked at Maynard's Restaurant, where the kids watched the giant carp and geese feeding off the leftovers the guests were feeding them. Lisa's cousin, Debbie, and her husband, Peter, and family were here from England. Their daughters helped with our boys and were so good with them. We offered Lauren a nanny position for the rest of the summer! :) Ryan thought the Mule was the BEST way to get to the top of the giant hill up from the lake. All in all, it was a very fun afternoon!
