School Carnival

Tonight was Ryan's school carnival.  Ryan asked me this morning where they would put the rides - on the playground?  I tried to explain it was a 'different' kind of carnival.  I was hoping they would not be disappointed when we arrived.  No need to worry - they loved it.  It was HUGE!  There were all different kinds of food for sale, an obstacle course, bouncing castle, face painting, tattoos, cake walk, games, games, and more games.  We could have been there all night and I don't think they would have tired of it.  They had a blast!

Johnsville All Stars

The boys have matching Johnsville sweatshirts.  I ordered Ryan's for his birthday and when it arrived it was too small.  That one was passed down to Carter and Ryan got a larger size (one advantage of having 3 boys!)  They are all ready to go to the Spring Carnival at school and they were soooo excited!!!!

Running around outside before we left for the carnival - they are so anxious for the snow to melt and summer to be here.  SPRING FEVER!!!!!

Soccer

Ryan had his first night of indoor soccer tonight.  On the way, he told me he was nervous to play soccer.  Well, the nerves ended when we pulled up to the rink (he plays on an indoor hockey rink).  He burst through the front doors and never stopped running until the training session was over.   He begged to stay and keep playing.  I asked if he would be nervous for his first game and he said "NO WAY!"  He was so excited.  You know that ready-to-burst excitement?  He had it!  So much fun to see!

Doesn't he look grown up in this picture???

Most of the pictures were taken through the plexiglass, so it was difficult to get a good picture of the kids on the field.

Children's Museum

My neighbor, Di, and I braved the crowds with our 4 kiddos in tow to visit the Minnesota Children's Museum during spring break.  It was crazy there, but the kids didn't seem to mind.  We had all we could do to keep all 4 in view at the same time! :)  Alexis is older than Ryan by one month and Tyler is older than Carter by one year.  Somehow age doesn't play a factor - they all get along very well!

Jewelry

This weekend's jewelry projects:

Something I hadn't tried previously - a 3/4" brushed washer, free spinning - I really like how it turned out!

Cleaning Help

I hired new house cleaners last week.  They aren't very efficient, but they work relatively cheap (1 Italian Ice/each).  If you are interested in hiring my helpers, let me know!

Jewelry

Here are last week's jewelry orders:

I'm Baaaaack!

Last week I was attempting to change my email address on my blog account, and by some wrong key stroke (user error), I deleted my entire account, deleting my blog, group for our neighborhood email distribution list, among many other things.  It was a nightmare of filling out numerous forms (multiple times - 6 at last count), pleading for help on the forum boards, and finally, one week later, they restored my access to my account.  I couldn't be happier.  I was just sick about losing my blog - so glad to have it (and everything else associated with my account) back.  Thanks for your patience!!!!

Las Vegas

Evan and I returned from Las Vegas last night.  The weather was great - around 70+ and sunshine.  It was great pool weather and very hard to come home.  Of course, the boys help with that, if it weren't for them, I think Evan would have dragged me kicking and screaming from the Mirage.  It was that relaxing! :)

Our hotel room - the Mirage is one of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in:
Our new luggage set - with wheels that actually work, they saved Evan's back!!!
Relaxing pool side, a much needed break!!
