Happy Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween this year. Ryan's request was to Trick or Treat with Lukas, so we had dinner with them and then went trick or treating. The boys were so WIRED all day long, I thought it would be nice to have Halloween on a Saturday, now I'm not so sure! :) Regardless, they got a lot of candy and had a great time!

Harvest Party

Today I volunteered for the Harvest Party at Ryan's preschool. I love seeing 'a day in the life' of what he experiences at school. I love this school, their philosophies and teaching methods. It was such a fun day and it went much too quickly.

Ghost Footprints

The boys made ghost footprints at Jill's house yesterday. Look at the size of those ghosts! Ryan now wears a Size 13 shoe and Carter a Size 11. Where did our boys get their size???

Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins tonight at our house. Kyle was into it, Ryan did about half of his, and Carter could care less. He saw the pile of pumpkin guts and stayed clear. Evan and I ended up doing most of it. They turned out pretty well, considering the kids designed and drew all of the faces!

Star of the Day

Ryan was Star of the Day at Preschool today. Doesn't the look on his face just say it all? When I picked him up on Thursday, he came running to meet me, so excited to tell me he had the Secret Sack, to bring his favorite toys to school on Tuesday for Show and Tell. He chose his Spiderman disc shooter (shown below), a transformer, and a shooter toy of Kyle's. All boy, all the time - that's Ryan!

Hunting Buddy

Carter was SO excited to see his Dad when he returned from a hunting weekend. He discovered that his Dad's hat FIT him - literally - he has the biggest head for a 2 year old!!! Evan won't have to look far for a few hunting buddies in the years to come!!!!

Fall in Pioneer Park

The boys and I took a walk in Pioneer Park this afternoon. The colors were gorgeous but judging by the amount of leaves on the ground, I would guess we might be past our peak in this area. The boys had fun running through the leaves and picking out their favorites. What a fun day!
