Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's

Carter is so excited to have his own set of wheels at Grandma and Grandpa's now. He is finally old enough to ride the 4 wheeler by himself (almost). This four wheeler has seen many miles - it was originally purchased for Kyle as a gift after his adenoidectomy when he was 4 years old. He rode it until he was too big and graduated to a larger 4 wheeler. Ryan rode it for 3 summers and now it is finally Carter's turn. Look how proud he looks!

Rainbow

After the downpour at the park, we headed home. These pictures were taken on the freeway, out the truck window. I took the rainbow as Grandma Rabe's way of saying "Happy Birthday, Stephanie" - she always loved to tell me how I was their wedding anniversary present - it gave us twice the reason to celebrate on the 27th!

Pine City Playground

A Pizza Pub dinner wasn't complete without a trip to the playground when I was growing up. The same rules apply now that I have kids. Off to the playground we went after dinner. The kids had a blast - it had far more equipment on it now than it had when I was a kid. When we were playing, we were caught in a sudden downpour. We went undercover in the park shelter until it passed. All in all, what a fun night! :)

Pizza Pub Party

We celebrated my birthday "Kroschel style" with 20 of us at the Pizza Pub for dinner. We had a great time visiting and catching up and best of all, the arcade kept the kids busy so we COULD visit! :) What a fun night -thanks for the cake, dinner, and organizing Mom!!!!!

Cake compliments of my Mom:

Just a little farther...I can almost reach it!

Birthday

Today is my birthday - the last year I can say that I am closer to 30 than 40. Yikes! We spent time at the local parade and are headed up north for dinner with my Mom and friends. It is going to be a great day!

Backyard

Carter and I were playing the backyard yesterday and he spotted a chipmunk. I grabbed the camera to see what was going on at the feeder!!
