Fun at the Park
As a Mom, I admit, I am not above bribery. "Be good while we run errands, and we will go to the Park". They behaved (relatively well) and off we went! There is a new park just south of us a couple of miles and it has become a new favorite. Here are a few shots from this morning.

Chuck E' Cheese's
Our plan today was to head to Valleyfair. A look last night at today's forecast pushed us to change our plans. We decided to take the boys to CEC instead. They had such a fun time with the games. Pretty easy to take Carter - he can just play the games without any tokens yet...Ryan did last year as well - guess that will change when he gets a little older! Ryan wearing his "prize" in the last photo!

Brooke's Golden Birthday Party
What is a golden birthday party without a bouncy castle, face painter and balloon animal creator, great food and friends? The boys had such a fun time with their neighbor friends at Brooke's party. I think the artist was the favorite part of the day (well a close second to the castle!) I made Brooke's birthday present from the boys - a bracelet with her name and birthstones. It fit perfectly on her little wrist!

Ryan's First Day of Preschool
Ryan had his first day of preschool today. He had a great time! The first day is Parent-Child Day and they arrange a scavenger hunt so the kids can explore all of the different areas of the classroom. He did playdoh, a sand table, a pretend play kitchen, puzzles, read books, drew pictures, and met his teachers. I was a little nervous how he would do in a school setting, but he jumped right in with the rest of the class and sat on his "tape" on the floor during story time. His first day alone is next Tuesday - hoping it goes as well as today! His favorite part was the great playground outside that we visited before we left! :) I said to him driving to school today "I can't believe my baby is so big and going to school today!" He said "yep, Mom, Carter has to be your baby because I'm all growed up now!"
