Kyle loves helping Grandpa with fire wood. They spend countless hours in the woods, often late for meals, to cut, split, pile, and haul wood. Grandpa is just thankful for another set of hands to help him out!

Burning the Brush Pile
Grandpa had this great idea to burn the brush pile on Friday night. After a scurry to obtain a burning permit, he and the boys headed out to burn the brush pile. The kids helped gather all the dead branches/wood in the grove and they had the biggest fire! They loved helping with it, and were only disappointed when we didn't have marshmallows to roast!

Autumn has officially arrived!
Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of cold weather, but this autumn has been gorgeous. The colors are in full bloom in the metro. I captured these shots within 50 feet of my front door - beautiful! Can you just see how cold my fish look in the last photo? I am going to try to get them inside within the next few days... :)

Playhouse Disney
My Mom and I took the boys to Playhouse Disney Live today at Xcel Center. The boys loved the show - but were most excited about the light up wands we bought them at the show. I stuck to my guns about no trinkets...until they walked by selling them in the auditorium during intermission (Disney knows how to get even the cheapest of parents!) I went with Ryan to buy one. Low and behold Carter couldn't stand for Ryan having one and not him. The largest temper tantrum ever produced one more overpriced light up wand...Sigh! They did put on a great show - the boys were fixated the entire performance!
Sunday School
Ryan's Sunday School class sang for the church today. I brought my camera, hoping to catch a shot of him singing...well, he found a comfortable spot on his teacher's lap and that is where he sat! He was also presented a Toddler Bible during the church service - he was excited to go up front to get that! He wanted to read it during the rest of the church service...

Ryan "Andretti"
Ryan spotted the Kettcar up on the wall in the garage today. After a little manuevering, I finally managed to get it down. I bought it a couple of years ago, but he has been too small to ride it. Not anymore - he was tearing around today, pretending to be a race car driver! Check out the look on his face in the fourth photo where he is chasing Carter down!!!
