Demolition Derby

We took the boys to the Pine County Demolition Derby on Saturday night.  It is so popular that Mom and I went 2 1/2 hours in advance to stand in line and secure seats for everyone else.  I am so glad we did get there early, we had great seats (not too close - the first rows got sprayed with mud!)

I went to the derby every year growing up and it was a childhood favorite of mine.  All of the boys seemed to really enjoy it as well.  I wish I had my good camera there (these were all taken on my phone), but I wasn't sure where we would be sitting or if my camera would get muddy, so I didn't bring it!  Anyway, it was a hit, I'm guessing we'll be back next year! :)
